BioSuperfood (BSF) is a breed apart from any basic algae such as Spirulina or Chlorella. BSF has powerful, rejuvenating, healing and nourishing effects on the body and brain. BSF is a breed apart because of :

Each base alga is selected for its base value alone, then for its balance and synergistic properties in combination with the other algae:
- The algae Spirulina Pacifica and Spirulina Platensis have the highest amount of naturally occurring proteins, vitamins, minerals, EFA, trace elements and enzymes than any other alga.
- Astaxanthin, the king of alpha-carotene as derived from Haematoccocus Pluvialis, is one the most potent antioxidants in nature. Studies suggest that Astaxanthin can deliver 1000 times the antioxidant power of vitamin E.
- Dunaliella, the king of beta-carotene is a green/yellow mono-cellular alga that contains the highest known concentration of beta-carotene - approximately 10% of the base alga weight. Dunaliella has been used in anti-cancer research and has many promising results in reduction of tumors and cancer cells. It is also very high in vitamin C which complements Spirulina's low content, part of a well-known synergy between the two.

BSF is highly bioavailable unlike other algae. For example, Chlorella, a green micro- algae, is a nutritious food but does not have the same anti-viral, anti-cancer and immune stimulating properties of BSF. The Chlorella cell wall is made of indigestible cellulose while the cell wall of spirulina in BSF is made of complexed proteins and sugars that are easily digested by human.
This blend achieves superior synergies and a balance not attained in singly occurring algae. The algae are grown in open farm or bioreactor environments for quality and control of purity and of key aspect of the technology such as: temperature, light, water level and turbulance, etc. allowing for control of the presence of more or less of the desired nutrients such as alpha carotene, zinc, vitamin C, etc.

Founder and Science
The product was brought to America by Professor, Doctor Michael Kiriac, N.D., PhD and Academician of Merits. In 2002, Prof. Kiriac became a Fellow of the European Medical Association for helping the children of the Chernobyl disaster with BioSuperfood since 1986. For 22 years, Dr. Kiriac was the lead researcher and director of the effort to develop nutritional solutions to various diseases in the former USSR.
A bioneer, he is the author of many scientific papers and patents in the science and technology of growing and enhancing micro algae concentrates. He is the recipient of gold medals for the invention of BioSuperfood and its use to heal the children of Chernobyl.
